All Tied Up

Grab and Go Ponytail holder will change your life. Keeps your hair under control in the boat even on windy days.

I’ve had long hair for a long time, and I love it, but sometimes it’s a pain. It takes a long time to wash and dry, it requires all kinds of “product” and if you’re not careful when you go for a boat ride you’ll end up with knots or looking like Medusa. These are the problems that confront lady anglers (or Seth Feider).

Fortunately, there is a solution, and it’s going to change your life.

I first learned about this magical hair tie when I forgot to bring one of my regular hair ties to the gym -- NOT a good thing for someone with really long hair. Fortunately, one of my workout buddies (who also has long hair) said: “WAIT, I have something that will change your life!”

Was she talking to me? Perhaps she misunderstood “hair tie” for “cream pie.” (Let’s not go there!) What could be so earthshattering and so amazing that it inspired such excitement? A hair tie, that’s what! And now I’m a convert -- this simple hair tie, although a little pricier than your regular grab-and-go at the drug store, is worth every penny they charge.

It’s called the “L. Erickson Grab & Go Ponytail Holder.” Right now you can get a set of 15 of them on Amazon for 18 bucks and it’s also available from a wide variety of other retailers.

It’s a great choice regardless of whether you have thin hair or thick hair. It stays in place through a workout without having to fix it over and over again. If I fall asleep with it in, I find that my hair looks as good when I wake up as it did when I went to bed.

You can wear it high, low and even as a bracelet. There are many colors, creative designs and sets to choose from. Given the extreme amount of time and money we spend to make our hair look good, why not use invest in one more product?

It even saves you pain and suffering because when you pull it out it doesn’t take half a head of hair with it. Unlike the competition, most times it doesn’t take any at all.

You may think that graduating from college, getting married or the birth of your child may be the most life-changing things you’ll ever experience, but (sorry husband!), for me it was this ponytail holder, that’s what. It’s by far the very best hair tie ever made and I am now all tied up.

Hanna's ponytail is under control. Long red hair not tangled.
