California 420 Creature Baits
I have no doubt that when Andre Moore invented the California 420 color for the Reaction Innovations lineup, it was with a distinct sense of purpose.
On the other hand, when Zoom added it to their palette, I’m almost certain that owner/founder Ed Chambers had no idea what the term meant. [If you don’t either, there’s no reason to be ashamed – go ahead and Google it].
Over the intervening years, it has become an industry standard, regardless of your opinion on the backstory. Obviously, Reaction Innovations leads the way. You can get the Sweet Beaver, Smallie Beaver, Double Wide Beaver, Kinky Beaver and Spicy Beaver.
