Frogging With Okuma & Fishlab at ICAST 2026 with Scott Favors
I competed against Scott “Gunny” Favors for more years than either of our gray-haired heads care to remember. Long after I gave up the tournament grind, he’s still at, earning checks at fisheries like the Potomac and the Chickahominy, where frogging is king. That’s why I perked up at ICAST 2026 when he wanted to tell me about his new frogging combo from Okuma – and the distinctive frog from Fishlab that he’s certain will make you a more effective angler.
We’ve fished flutter spoons for bass and Blue Fox Pixies for Alaska salmon, but on our Zambia tigerfish trip, a weird double spoon absolutely outfished everything else… and it wasn’t even close.
