New Multipiece Spinning Rods – January 2025
For reasons not entirely clear to me, there are typically more multi-piece spinning rods than baitcasting rods, and the recent additions to the Tackle Warehouse lineup bear that out. Whereas I recently listed six new baitcasters, over approximately the same time period they’ve added nine spinning rods or series. Whether you’re chasing bass, trout, walleye or saltwater critters, they probably have something you can pack on your next long-distance trip. Here they are, in no particular order.
Four different lengths/actions to cover a wide range of needs at a low price.
Three 6’6” rods in lighter actions, still at an affordable price point.
Two options with cork grips and solid components at a still-reasonable price.
Lew’s gives it up for the truly budget-conscious traveler with this 6’6” medium.
More evidence of the company’s commitment to a wide range or products in this niche.
Just like the baitcasting version, it has two tips to ensure that you’re covered for varying situations.
Three rods, all 6’6” or 7, from M to MH.
Five models, all very reasonably priced to build a budget travel arsenal.
The rare saltwater-specific item to sneak its way into the TW lineup. Might be a good option for when you need something more durable.
