Fish Free or Die – The Tim Dube Story

After getting my first bass boat in late 1996, my first long-distance trip was to Lake Winnipesaukee, New Hampshire. Eight years later, on Hanna’s first trip to the same location, I decided I needed to marry her. Accordingly, the state will always have a place in my heart, and I was therefore thrilled when the Bassmaster Elite Series added it’s first New Hampshire pro: Tim Dube. We already had a bunch of friends in common, but I decided I needed to get to know him a little better, so we cornered him at the 2025 Bassmaster Classic Expo.

I still don’t think he has an accent, but we’ll take his word for it. I look forward to getting back up to New England for brown fish and lobster rolls.
