2009 Bassmaster Classic champion Skeet Reese and his wife Kim joined us in Panama. They’re experienced and fearless travelers, but I still wanted to get Kim’s unfiltered opinions about the fishing, safety and creature comforts.

Plenty of male anglers who like to go on fishing trips specifically to get away from their wives. If that dynamic works for your relationship, go for it, but I’ve always taken a different approach. If I could find a woman who loved to fish, or who could be convinced that she loved to fish, it would make for a stronger relationship – and more time on the water for both of us.

On her latest trip to Anglers Inn Lake Picachos, Tennessee’s Lisa Skelley brought not only her perma-smile, but also her boyfriend Dwayne to celebrate a couple of life milestones. As always, it was an amazing adventure.
