Use Wood to Show Someone You Care

Laser engraved picture of Alaska rainbow trout

At this point in time, all of the pictures and fishy art may be what’s holding our house together. Between actual photographs, canvas prints, fiberglass fish reproductions and other knickknacks, our walls floweth over. Still, we keep having more great adventures that we want to memorialize.

After our July 2020 trip to Bear Trail Lodge in Bristol Bay, Alaska, I wanted to find something wall-worthy with which to remember one of our flyouts. I don’t recall whether I found Hint’s Laser Engraving through a web search or the recommendation of a friend, but I noted that while they produced all sorts of images on all sorts of products, they seemed to have a special affinity for outdoors-related scenes. I reached out with a photo, the suggested language, and the BTL Logo to see what they could do. Not only did they respond quickly to my questions, but they got the product done and shipped in just a few days. It exceeded expectations.

I don’t have any relationship to them, but based on that one experience I’d recommend them wholeheartedly, whether you want something like ours, or a cutting board or an engraved tumbler. Every time I look at this distinctive item I smile and try to figure out what I’ll order from them next (and which niece or nephew is losing their wall space).
