Go Fish the Skeet Reese Big Bass Battle Fishing Tournament at Clear Lake
Clear Lake has been a record-setting fishery for decades, but over the past couple of years it’s also been the hottest lake in the country. Where else can you go an 30-pound bags won’t get you paid in a five-fish limit tournament?
Now Bass Fishing Hall of Famer Skeet Reese is giving you a chance to win big on his home pond – and all it takes is a single cast to get it done. Unlike traditional bass fishing tournaments, where anglers weigh in five bass at the end of the day, the Skeet Reese Big Bass Battle on June 27-28, 2026, allows amateur anglers from all skill levels to win multiple cash payouts each day during the hourly weigh-ins. Each tournament day features seven hourly weigh-ins, with 10 cash payouts per hour.
There will be 140 cash payouts, but the overall big bass winner will get a fully-rigged Ranger Z519R powered by Mercury® 225 HP ProXS, Power Pole Move trolling motor, Power Pole Blades, and Lowrance electronics valued over $90,000.
The entry fee is $200 per angler.
Registration closes at 9pm on the Thursday prior to the event.

Join us for a get-together at Konocti Harbor Resort restaurant and bar for a live-stream webinar. “Skeet’s take on Clear Lake,” Where Skeet will conduct a Q&A session with you and possibly some guest speakers. Food and drink are available for purchase.
Friday June 26
Pre Fish, Boats must be off the water by 6 PM
6:30 – 9 PM Complimentary Dinner and Fun!
This is our big night! Make sure you join us for your complimentary dinner and have some fun. Meet the sponsors and socialize at the Konocti Harbor Resort and Spa, in the banquet room and bar. Let’s get hyped up with this pre-tournament get-together and talk about the fishing ahead. Please RSVP during registration so we have an accurate headcount.
Saturday June 27

6 – 8:30 PM Cornhole tournament and free beer provided by Crooked Goat Brewing
Make sure you join us for a fun evening at the Shannon Mercantile Winery and have some great Shannon wines at the tasting bar or free beer on us. There will be food trucks (food for purchase) and live music. Make sure you sign up for the cornhole tournament if you want a chance to win some Reese fishing rods!

Konocti Harbor Resort and Spa will be the tournament’s housing headquarters.
