Bass Lures that Imitate Japan’s “Whitespotted Char”
Of course there are lots of trout-replicating swimbaits and other bass lures meant to imitate rainbows. After all, they’re the most common and most commonly stocked version here in the US. We’ve already found a few outliers, though, particularly Japanese species like Amago and Yamame. Even if you’ll never set foot in Japan, they might be a nice way to differentiate yourself on your home waters. Now we’ve found another one, the Iwana, aka Salvelinus leucomaenis or the “whitespotted char.”
