I’d bet that over three-quarters of the bass jigs sold and fished today utilize a base of black, brown or green – sometimes with accents like blue, orange or chartreuse. Of course there are patterns named after specific waterways – likely where they gained a foothold – such as Okeechobee Craw, Alabama Craw or Texas Craw.
