Are Your Marine Electronics Ready for a BeatDown?

BeatDown Outdoors LLC Logo electronics mounts

My first used bass boat purchased in late 1995 had an in-dash flasher and two four-inch screens. Today, I run 12-inch Garmins and my electronics choices are far less extreme than those of many of my peers. As our sonar and GPS options have increased, the risk associated with having them stolen or broken has also become potentially much more costly. My transducer on my current front graph cost more than the entire electronics setup on my first boat. On top of that, my eyes have worsened – even with the bigger screens and better displays I can still only interpret the information correctly if it’s close to my face.

BeatDown Outdoors has some solutions to these potential problems. Justin McClelland led us through some of their offerings at the 2024 Bassmaster Classic Expo in Tulsa.
