While topwater frogging seems to continually gain in popularity (at least when people aren’t looking at a screen and pinging a minnow), the buzz toad seems to be retreating. Sure, it’s a top choice for many if not most pros as a skirt replacement on a buzzbait, but it doesn’t seem like people throw one solo anymore.
