More Good News from Copa for Mid-Atlantic Travelers to Panama

Copa Air direct flights from Mid-Atlantic states and cities

We recently published an article about the best ways to fly to Panama for your next epic tuna popping trip. Not surprisingly, many of the options were from Copa, the country’s flag carrier – including direct flights from our home airport, Washington-Dulles (IAD).

Well, since that article went live, Copa announced that starting June 28th they’ll be adding service between Baltimore/Washington International Thurgood Marshall Airport (BWI) and Panama’s Tocumen airport four times weekly. This could be a boon to people from DC, Baltimore, Philly and other points in the region, as well as those with easy connections to BWI (which has a large number of Southwest flights).

Stay tuned for more info as it becomes available and don’t forget that we’re heading back to Sport Fish Panama Island Lodge in May of 2024 – spots are still available.
