Over in Europe, carp are revered. There’s an industry built around them with major tournaments and KVD-like figures. Here in America, though, they’re often considered one step up from rough fish. That doesn’t mean they aren’t valued in some corners – non-snobby fly anglers seem to love them, and Ray Scott tried to make them popular, but it just hasn’t become a widespread love affair. Anglers on both continents can agree that beer is good, however, and surprisingly there are some dedicated to old buglelips. Here are a few:
