Few fish have consistently captured my imagination like the golden dorado. Ever since Skeet Reese told me that a dorado would kick the crap out of an equal-sized peacock bass, I’ve been obsessed. Now, as we prepare for our trip to Don Joaquin River Lodge in Argentina in December 2026, that long-time dream is finally coming closer to reality.
