I’ve occasionally thought that if I lived around brackish water species like redfish, I wouldn’t have much reason to fish for bass – the former eat the same lures, grow bigger and taste better. I’ve caught the spotted brawlers in South Carolina, Florida and of course Louisiana and hope to get more opportunities in the coming years. That’ll take some bucks. I might be inclined to save them in a vessel that reminds me of the purpose, like any of the following:
