Wearing the Gray Ghost of SoCal
Ever since our trip to Southern California to fish with Oliver and Riley Ngy, I’ve been trying to ingest as much information as possible about the White Seabass, the fish that dominated our time on the water. While I couldn’t find many examples of White Seabass replicas or mounts, I have located more than a few t-shirts commemorating this largest member of the croaker family.

While a full-body paddlefish replica doesn’t appeal to me, I would like a preserved snout. The distinctive paddle that provides their name is actually called a “rostrum,” much like on the sawfish we accidentally caught in the Florida Keys. They make an amazing mount.
