Nine Lure Colors That Sound X-Rated (But Probably Aren’t)
Even though I’m 55, I find that I still laugh at a good Yo Mama joke, or at the ketchup bottle “farting,” or just about any creative use of “deez nuts.” So do most of my contemporary fishing friends. It’s part of why we get along.
The fishing industry is full of double-entendres, both intentional and inadvertent. If you’ve ever chuckled at someone saying “throw up on the bank,” or “my partner has a big sack,” then you know what I’m talking about. Lure designers know it, too, and come up with plenty of great lure colors for the immature members of our group. Below I’ve listed a few favorites.
As a side note, I elected to exclude all of the offerings from lifetime award winner Reaction Innovations, as well as anything from the “Sexy Shad” lineup, and all of the permutations of “bone.”
