Apparel of the Week – Bowfin Rule the World

Even though I only catch them accidentally, I have a strange obsession with bowfin and their many names. I’ve written about bowfin apparel (and caviar) not once but twice. I even wrote glowingly about the bowfin beer served at a brewery in the Netherlands so convincingly that my colleague Elizabeth visited on vacation.

Now, however, I found a company that’s laid the gauntlet down.

The aptly-named Bowfin Fanatics doesn’t just include a few shirts or hats as an afterthought. They’ve built the brand around choupique superiority. Motto: “My bowfin can eat your bass.”

I love the hoodies, neck gaiters and hats, but I think my favorite are the mudfish-adorned fleece fish scale pants. They look like you’re going to war against a prehistoric beast. If you’re wearing them, there’s a good chance you are.
