You can certainly catch billfish in easily-accessible places like Florida or California or even New Jersey, but there’s something special about catching them in exotic, tropical locales. We’ve loved our trips to Central America and look forward to branching out from there, ideally to places like French Polynesia or Australia. Maybe that’ll inspire us to get a tropical marlin or sailfish tattoo. Here are some examples from across the web:
